I am continuing to have problems with the fuel tank sender in my main tank. The dealership has replaced the sending unit once already, and it is again reading a dead short (showing full when I know the tank isn't). I have checked the connections and both of them are good.
I hate to have them keep ordering new parts from Luhrs, and I have seen a capacitive sending unit (with no moving parts) from Centroid Products (www.centroidproducts.com). What I need to know to order a sender for the main tank is how deep the tank is where the sender is located.
I know I could measure it myself when I next go there, but this site has been so responsive, i figure I'd try here first.
Thanks,
Joe
