I have a 32 open that the anchor does not fit the pulpit correctly. I believe the prevous owner had replaced it. I was wondering what might fit better and hold good.

What kind of bottom do you typically anchor in. We put 18# Danforth fluke anchors on them now and you can typically get them fairly cheap. If you bottom fish a lot or anchor around a lot of live bottom I wouldnt spend much on one. Bent or hung anchors are typically rendered useless when retrieved. You can heat them to straighten them, but they tend to weaken a lot when you do that. You can also reef rig them so you dont have to worry much about them being damaged.
My choice is the 22# Delta anchor. (34' express fish) It holds great in many types of bottom and fits the pulpit.( stays straight and looks good).
