I am in desperate need of any information available for my 2006, 28 open.
Parts lists, schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational information, parts suppliers. I love my 28 open but find operation, maintenance, and parts information completely lacking especially now that Luhrs is moving the Florida operation to New Jersey. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Most of the parts for maintenance of the systems is much more easily obtained from the manufacture that built that system. For example, if you have Mecury engines, contact Mercury and give them your model/serial #'s and you can get all the parts you need.

For example, I have CAT engines and setup an account on with my local CAT dealer who has givin me access to their online system which has pictures and diagrams of each subsystem on the engine, with parts diagrams, parts lists, price and can even just put the order in on the web and pick it up at two different locations, one by my house and one not far from where I work.


All of the systems on your boat are not manufactured by Luhrs, they just build the hull and put all the parts in.

Start by cataloging all of your systems and getting the part #'s and even seriel #s. Then contact each mfg and get the install, user, mtce guides.

You will have to go to Luhrs for wire diagrams

Why dont you just go back to the dealer that sold you the boat? If you bought it from an authorized Luhrs dealer?

Like the guys said; your boat is the sum of it's parts. La Chata is a 2009 28 Open. Send me a list of your components to my email rrivera63@mac.com and if there are components in common I can scan and email to you. I can also scan some of the schematics in my Luhrs manual although believe some of these may have changed but not much. Do you have Volvos or Yanmars?
