There really doesn't seem to be many people/help here. I am researching purchasing my first Luhrs and finding it very difficult to obtain any information. Can anyone help?:dimebag:

Ask away - there are a handful of folks here that visit on a regular basis and try to help as much as posible.

I am not sure why this forum isn't more heavily used, maybe the Luhrs owners out there just don't know it exists.

I agree with witeagle, ask away... I looked at your previous posts and it appears you are looking at a mid 70s Luhrs... unfortunately I own a 2000 model, have had it since new so I know the pluses and minuses pretty well but really do not know alot about the mid 70s Luhrs models, but ya can't lose for askin... thats what is great about this forum, the only silly question is the one you don't ask. The one thing I can say is you have to be careful with some of the late model Luhrs that were built with cored hulls below the water line, I know that was being done in the early to mid 80s, but not sure if it started in the 70s.

Luhrs cored hulls in the late 1980's to early 1990's. The 32 had a cored hull from 1989 to about 1992 or 1993. I have bought my 1989 342 Tournment in 1995. I really like the layout. We have the one stateroom layout which is great for the two of us. I don't know anything about the models made in the 1970's but good luck with whatever you decide.
