Became the owner of a 1994 290 open last year. Bought it in NC and ran it up to NJ. I have a lot of questions. The first is the surveyor showed me the hull flexing under the bunks. He said this should be fixed. I was going to lay up a couple layers of matting. Any suggestions.
Have 2006 350 MPI 300HP engines. Soda blasted the bottom, sanded, barrier coat, and bottom paint. Had props done. 16 x 15.2. Top rpm is 4670 at 31.2 MPH and .7 MPG. Can cruise 23 MPH at 3600 RPM and .83 MPG . Readings taken from Smart craft. Does this seem proper.
