Anyone knows where can i get some rubber stoppers wich they go where the hatches sit on the cockipit on a 89 luhrs 400 SF? There a bunch of them and they sit on the base of the hatch doors with a screw in the middle and i believe you can adjust the height with those screws Thanx

they all disingraded in small pieces after 20 years.. they are rubber, round like a cone with a hole in the middle for the screw.. height around half an inch, with half an inch base and smaller at the top..they are placed every 6 or so inches apart were the hatch doors sit on the cockpit

Call the parts department at 1-904-827-2030 and talk to Marshall Germany.
He should have them, or know which vendor has them. I replaced mine a while back, and found replacements (grey in color) in the local hardware store that was similar but not the same.

Dixiestriker,
They are on the boat, so I won't ge able to get there until this weekend. I beleive the manufacturer was Lavelle....check out thier website you will see similarities to the one Luhrs uses.

Dixie,
Went to the boat and found that the gray rubber stoppers I used, were about 0.75" diameter, and 0.312" height. They look like these:

https://www.hardwareworld.com/Rubber-Bumper-p5GDTHG.aspx

The Luhrs originals are 0.75" diameter and 0.562 in Height.

These gray bumbers weren't a problem before, because my hatch configuration always had a rubber stopper on top, and one on the bottom that met. I had only replaced the top set. After inspecting this weekend I now see that the bottom set of originals are disintegrating and I'll need to replace them as well.
The gray ones will not provide enough height.

Went back to the Hardware store to see if I could find a closer match. Everything in that size/height is Plastic...not Rubber. Next, I checked the Internet and called multiple commercial suppliers....unfortunately, all industrial manufacturers have minimum purchase requirements (some less than others).

http://www.millerproducts.com/recessed_bumpers.html
http://www.midatlanticrubber.com/recessed_bumpers.htm

It's a 15 cent part (MAR-18W). Since Mid Atlantic Rubber is close to me, I purchased a minimum batch, which I will directly pick up next week, since I will be in Baltimore on business.

PM me , and I can send you a quantity if you wish.

Hope this helps!....
