Hello. New owners here of a 2008 35 Convert. We really love this boat! Moved up from a 30ft Boston Whaler. Looking for other 35 owners to share tips on design, parts, maintenance, etc. Can't wait to go fishin, but haven't even put the rod holders in yet.

Two Whaler owners moving up to Luhrs convertibles. It's a small world. When did you get the 41? How do you like it?

Welcome and congrats.

Luhr's gets the job done.

We run out of Sebastian Inlet and Ft. Pierce for the most part. Take some trips down to South Florida every year. I'm sure we'll do more Bahamas now too with the 35.
Just did a fleet trip with our club last weekend to Cocoa Village Marina on the Intracoastal. Picture perfect weather for this time of year, walking distance to shops and restaurants.
So far the 35 is meeting all of our expectations and more.

Congrats. I just received mine end of last year, and I have it in Venezuela where I do my boating. Some tips I have experienced with mine:
- Bad Odors on the Galley after cruising. My boat has the Jabsco Quiet Flush System. After 2 weeks of getting delivery, I started seeing that after filling out the bowl of the toilet, it did not kept it. I assume the odors are coming in the toilet through the connection. I spoke to the Jabsco team, and they recommended replacing a rubber Joker valve that is right under the toilet (very easy to do) and it was like 8 bucks. I did it this weeknd I think it will work.
- Dripping Shafts. After 40 hours of use, both shafts started leaking after 2.200 RPM. I got them replaced and re-aligned, but it keeps on. I am working out the probem.
Good luck and enjoy it.

Jwinzey-
Interesting. No odors or shaft log problems here yet. We are at about 65 hours. Some issues we have dealt with:
- Bottom paint very thin, rubbing off. I'm scheduling to have it done locally with a good barrier coat.
- Some water leaking through the hardtop screws during rain. Just got up there and reset the screws with larger washers and lockwashers. If that doesn't do it, will apply silicon sealant.
- No catches in the engine compartment for closing the bulkhead door. I fabricated and installed two myself from aluminum strips.
- I also have not yet found a way to route a wire from the flybridge helm down into the salon. I do not see a pull cord in the main conduit at the fly. Have you done this yet?
