Windlass

I am about to replace the windlass on my 32 open. There is currently what is left of the factory lewmar vertical windlass. I called Luhrs and they are now using the Lewmar V700 on the 32 open so i'd figure i'd go with the same model. Has anyone had any good or bad luck with this model? Any suggestions for another brand or lewmar model?

we have a sprint 1000. does the job pretty well. motor died under warranty and was replaced. no problems with it for 5 yrs ....

I found that the current Windlass that is defunct is a Lewmar Ocean One. Has anyone replaced one of these with a newer model that would fit the same bolt and whole pattern? I really don't want to have to patch up the deck and then drill new holes.
