Hey everybody,
I just bought a 1994 Luhrs 350 tournament with twin MPC 502s (360hp each). Does anyone have any idea what the top speed of the boat will be and the fuel consumption. I would really appreciate all your help.
Further more does anybody know of any complications with regards to the Luhrs model i bought?
Thanks,
David

Hello,
I have a 1994 T350 Convertible, formerly with Twin Gas MP454's (330hp). I have since converted to diesels.

With the MP engines, top speed was in the range of 17-19 kts at 3500-3600 RPM. My normal cruise RPM was about 3000-3300 running 15-17kts. Burn was about 30-32 GPH. This is a solid, heavy boat(20K without fuel/water/gear), with a moderately deep deadrise (18 degree), and lots of windage up top. You need some power to push this hull.

Suggest you read David Pascoe's review of the T350, as he had good comments which have proven to be true in my case.

Hope this helps you.....

Kevin

Thanks for you response to my last question it ws very helpful.
I unfortunatly just hit a reef (within the channel) and have bent my port side prop. Any idea where i can get a new one and how much they would cost?

Wow...that's a bummer!

Depending on how badly the prop is bent, you may be able to have it reconditioned. The pricing for a replacement prop, will be based on the diameter and the material (Bronze versus Nibral).

Here is a link to a reconditioning shop...there are many others..check around
