another blown Volvo Penta engine

Is anyone else having problems with blowing engines? Port engine blew in June. Although alot of the expence of repair was covered under warrenty. Some expenditures weren't. So that was a little upsetting. Now the boat is back in the water for a few weeks and the starboard engine blew. These are volvo gas engines with less than 100 hours. The boat was bought last fall brand new as a leftover having a winter hauled out at the marina so the use is very limited.Doesn't luhrs cover this sort of thing in full or was the few thou extra a ride I was given by the people who installed the replacement long block engine? thanks for any input on what should be expected in getting another engine fixxed under warranty. :dunno:

On our boat we blew 3 5.7 volvos all with less than 100hours but volvo and luhrs came through and put the 8.1's on with different props(5 blades) and we have 350 hours with 0 problems now. I think the 5.7 is too worked and has valve failures when pushed hard on a heavy boat. Volvo seems to be very aware of the issues with that engine.
