Outrigger Cord

I am in need of replacing the outrigger cords on my convertable 350 and see that you can get mono or nylon. I assume that I have the original mono a this time. My question is, what are the advantages or disadvantages to either to mono versus nylon (versus braid)?

In my opinion 400# Mono after it stretches out a bit is great and comes in just about any color you might want now and is easy to rig tag lines etc., but is slippery when your hands are wet. Nylon doesnt get slippery, but I would stay away from white just because it get so dirty after a while and doesnt look very good. I dont think you can really go wrong either way, but wet hands will often make you wish you had nylon. Im sure there is someone else that could add to this.
