Hi Everybody-I am updating my electronics on my 320 Tournament & would like to install a in-hull transducer for the sounder. I have looked in the bilge & the engine room for maybe a flat spot made in the hull for this reason but haven't seen one. Anybody had any luck with this?

You will probably have to get a mounting block for your transducer. Most mounting instructions for transducers will advise how to cut the block to fit the degree of your hull. Check your transducers instructions. Most times you just have to make one cut through the block, the top goes on the inside the bottom goes on the outside and presto you have a flat surface to mount the transducer on.

there is no flat spot. you will need to cut a fairing block to match the hull angle so the transducer aims straight down.
