I have a 1990 380 Tournament and want to install rod holders on the port and starboard side of the back riser up to the flybridge. I have fished on a few boats that have had them installed there and it really helps out clearing the spread when the bite turns on. Most newer Sportfishers come from the factory that way now as well.
Anyone ever done this install? What angle (ie 0, 15 or 30 degree) rod holders are the correct ones to install?

I can't even afford a boat your size, but I do know glass and boats. Looking at your pic, I would say that the 30 would be your best bet. Just take a protractor to the spot you want to mount your rod holders, and you'll get a good visual of the angle your rod will be sticking out at. You can always twist them outboard as well to keep the rods totally out of the cockpit "airspace"

T380fishfinder,
Remember to take into consideration the curve that you are trying to work with. The curve of the flanges to the bridge are already at an angle so if you go with to much, your rods will be laying flat.
Just for thought. Both of those wings are hollow so you should have plenty of room behind there for mounting.
Hope this helps.
