1992 32ft Luhrs Conv

I have a 32 ft Luhrs Conv and need the front plexiglass windshield replaced. Has anybody replaced this before and where did you get the replacement plexiglass window?

Changing out the windshield is a chore. It is put in with ablack caulk that is also an adhesive. The windshield will probably come out in pieces.

It is a plexiglass that was cut by pattern at the factory. I am not sure if they still have the pattern for it. Back then, everything was cut with pin routers. Now it is all automated and we do not build that model anymore so I don't know if they transfered those files over.

Are you inquiring about the skylight in the front stateroom, or the front window?? We are looking at trying to replace both this year.

I am takling about the front windshield inside the cabin not the front hatch over the stateroom bed.

We are getting ready to replace our front windshield as well as the skylight. I can let you know how we do. We are going remove the windshield, but make a pattern first and then have a new one cut and installed with the help of the boatyard. Did you ever get your's replaced?

No. I did not get it replaced as of yet. What type of glass are you going to be using and how much are they charging you for the glass and to do it?
