Question: Have not been able to find a factory Coast Guard Rating for maximum people capacity on the boat/ nor does it seem to appear in the original borchere which came with the boat.
Anyone have this information? The 290 is a full walkaround with cuddy cabin year mode 1990

USCG was not issuing passenger capacity on boats of this size in 1990. In fact, I don't think they do even today.

What you need is an National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) certification tag, which usually comes original with most boats. It use to be riveted in location near the helm, but they may have changed them to stickers. Anyway, either contact Lurhs or go to the NMMA website and contact the organization. Otherwise, if you're licensed and taking out passengers for hire on your uninspected vessel, you would be limited to no more than 6 passengers.
Good Luck!

Thank you all. Was not albe to find anything on the boat, although taking beam times length and dividing by 15 is way more than anyone should have on the boat. 6 is confrontable. More makes fishing busy.
