Hello All,
I have thought about selling my Luhrs Tournament 25 CC, but do not know where to get accurate resale value. I checked with www.nada.com and it says there is not enough resale activity for any model Luhrs boat to accurately provide pricing information.
So what we have is what we believe to be the last 25' center console hull manufactured by Luhrs. It was finished in 1999, well after the last production model was sold by the dealers.
Our boat is powered by a 300 HP Yanmar turbo/diesel engine with approximately 400 hours. The hull is blue imron paint. She carries 193 gallons of fuel in three tanks. Also installed is a fresh water tank for the cabin sink and cockpit washdown. The cabin includes a v-berth, vac-u-flush toilet with holding tank, sink, and rod storage. The center console includes the standard gauge package with compass, rocket launcher type seating with rod holders, and t-top. The t-top has outriggers and the electronics box. Up top we have a Raymarine Autopilot, new Garmin color GPS, Furuno FCV-600 depth sounder, VHF radio and AM/FM/CD Stereo with speakers. The cockpit is wide and deep with a livewell in the transom, a bait prep station, rod holders and and a space for a very large cooler beside the bait prep area. Because of the height of the gunwales, we installed a removable 4-step stainless steel ladder on the transom.
We bought the boat used and a new three axle aluminum trailer on the east coast of Florida and transported the boat to Panama City, FL. For the past two years the boat has been kept on outside dry-storage at and with all maintenance by Treasure Island Marina.
My reason for selling is that my father no longer fishes and with a teenage daughter, we would like to trade the boat for a similar sized or slightly larger Sea-Ray type cruising boat for overnight or weekend stays at Shell Island.
All that being said, what do the learned members of the Luhrs Owners group think the boat is worth?
