ICW Okeechobee Waterway Transition

Looking for input from fellow mariner's in south Florida as to the conditions on the Okeechobee Waterway. I am delivering a vessel to Stuart later this month (January) and I am concerned about the depth of water. Just wondering if anyone has transition accross recently and what experience they had. Last thing i heard was that the lake was still very low. They where considering keeping it closed until next year in hopes that more rain would come. That was before the holidays. Don't know the latest since then.
