I just started restoring a 1968 25' Flybridge. Here's a link to another website I post my progress pics on

http://www.bloodydecks.com/forums/general-boats/86033-epoxy-worth-extra-money-over-vinylester-resin.html

Anyone have any info on this boat? I didn't get any replies from Luhrs themselves, but I was interested in plans or diagrams and such.

Anyways, I am installing two 75 gal tanks, and taking 1.5' out of the cabin to alot for more fishing room in the back. I also got a Chrysler 440 from the guy that gave me the hull. Hopefully the extra tankage and bigger block don't add too much weight to the rear end. Any input from anyone?

Thanks!
Danny

Its amazing to me how similar your boat and my 1974 model are in relation to the hull. Wish I had a digital camera, I'd shoot some pictures for you. Mine does not have anything other than a cuddy cabin. There is a raised floor in the stern so that the engine is completely under deck. Then you step down to the pilot house portion of the boat (I suspect it had a hard top originally). I have to replace the floor in the pilot house and the firewall in front of the engine. I suspect it was all removed to make it possible to get the old fuel tanks out.

UPDATE- I now have two 75 gal tanks, and one 70 gal tank. Now I can go long range fishing, but at the cost of a small loan LOL.
