Can anybody tell me what was used in the layup,Epoxy,vinylester or polyester?

First year of the 38 Luhrs production of 38/40 Luhrs with Carolina flair was 89 and they used vinylester resin right from the start with that model. Doug

Thanks Doug.I doubt they would have gone to Epoxy so it must still be Vinyl.
Interesting that there's no chopped strand over the woven anywhere.I can't actually see if there's any under it either.
Lots of heavy woven everywhere.

If there is any chopped mat, it is between the rough woven (inside) and the gelcoat on the outside. Most times the only way to tell how thick the chopped mat is, is when you drill a hole through the bottom for a depth sounder etc.
