I am trying to come up with some ideas on how to share content and resources with the 2 big Luhrs owners sites online. Please post any thoughts or suggestions on how best to do this or what you all would like to see.

Have you thought about registering on their sites and posting a message to one of their boards? I don't think www.thehulltruth.com would aprpeciate a posting like that, but who knows.

The two sites I am looking at do not have forums and my emails are going unresponded. I just thought it would be a good way to cross-promote.
I am not sure my opinions will be welcomed on TheHullTruth.com... :001_rolleyes:

Derek-
I sent you the following reply on 5/11/07 but apparently you did not get it:
Could I suggest you create forums for the individual LBOA groups too?
You may want to publicize this site at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/luhrsowners/. This is the dominant Luhrs forum that has been used for the past few years. Your bulletin board has much better software than Yahoo and the members won't get spammed like they do at the Yahoo board. I bet they will all migrate over to this site.
If guys start talking about problems with the boats, will you be deleting those posts? There is a lot of troubleshooting done on the Yahoo site.
Do you plan to activate the avatar and signature features? [I see you already did this.]
I can do an email blast to our members to inform them of this site once you are sure the bugs are out. I can also post a link on our website.
FYI...the West Coast dealer has not shown any interest in our group since taking over the Luhrs line over a year ago. Until that problem is solved, our group may not hold any more events.
We are also looking for a couple people to step up and lead the group. Anyone interested should contact me via our web site. We have had very successful tournaments for the past five years but it may not happen this year.

I am not in the business of surpressing anyones problems. The one instance of closed threads here is already well documented. I encourage everyone to voice their issues here. There are several Luhrs employees who are members and quick to help out.
Apparently I have not been receiving Mark's emails... I apologize and will try to help with organizing some cooperation between our groups.
