I am about to purchase a Luhrs 28 2006 tha has a pair of Yanmar 4lam-stpc (240hp). My questions is, the boat under power? What speed can I expect? Consumption of diesel? Thank you...

I just picked one up and it runs great with the 240 Yanmars. The boat gets on plane quickly with a big rush when the turbo-charger kicks in. Running the boat at 25 MPH gets me 2 MPG. Top speed is approx. 32MPH.

The 2007 28 Open has the 260 Yanmars. IMHO, they are not necessary.
