New owner of a 342

Hello, I just bought a 1988 342. I got it for a great cash deal, bank repo. I have just put about 10k in it to make sure it is ready for open water. It had a small crack on the inside of the hull by the rudders. I had both fixed. Everything is good now. I also have a 16 foot flats boat that I won't be giving up until I can figure out if I am really going to love offshore fishing:) I look forward to learning from all of you!

I just got it in the water last week. I am still getting it the way I want. Hoepfully I will be out fishing soon. How have you liked yours so far?

I'm in Melbourne, neighbor. Don't see too many Luhrs around here, although there are a few. Where do you keep yours?

Right now I have it in Merritt Island at Banana River Marina, I am going to probably keep it at Sebastian River Marina. I will hopefully get a slip there in a couple months. I want to be as close to the inlet as I can:)

I'm familiar with the Sebastian Inlet Marina. Nice, new place. We'll use it this Spring/Summer as a staging location for offshore.
