Help needed. My starboard engine runs and starts great: but it smokes, uses lots of oil and will not go beyond 2600 rpm's. All cylinders check out the same, tubor charger okay, oil cooler replaced.

Any ideas on how I am losing power and oil - with good compression and excellent oil pressure. Port engine burns no oil, does not smoke, and runs nicely to 3300 rpm.

Any one have a spare engine forsale in great shape?

Was able to run down the smoke and oil consumpton problem. Had to do with fuel injection pump or enjectors. Replaced both and has not used any oil since.
Still uonable to get the full rpm's from the Starboard engine although it runs great and starts immediately. Starboard tops out about 2600 rpm's and port 3100. Both should be doing up to 3300 rpms. Compression is almost the same on all cylinders. Any thought on this issue?
