I have a Raymarine E120 and a Raymarine E80 for sale.

The E120 was at the helm of my 38 Open, and was used every time the boat got underway. As a result, the screen does have some visible marks. That's the bad news. The good news is that I'll be replacing the glass so it will look good as new! The E80 was in the tower in a pod, and was RARELY used, and looks almost as good as the day it was taken from the box. BTW, I have the boxes for both the E120 and the E80.

I've replaced the displays with new Raymarine displays that I'm evaluating and will keep after the evaluation period is completed. Because of this, I can offer my old displays at a great price.

I'd like $2,500 for the E120, and $1,500 for the E80. Shipping will be added once I know where the units need to be sent.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Joe,

I'm interested, BUT LOL i don't know what will fit,
I want to add another E-120 and I think I could get it to fit if I yank the stupid radio that I never use, and relocate the VHF, however i have a fitting in the middle for the steering that i have to find out if it can be relocated, may take a few weeks to find all this info out, keep me posted if they are still availble in 4 weeks how old are the units and is there any warrenty still left on them ?

Mark,

The units were purchased when I bought the boat in March 2006 and installed by the dealer, so there's no manufacturer's warranty on them. As I said, there are some marks on the screen from people pointing (and touching - WHY do they INSIST on TOUCHING?), but I will be getting new glass from Raymarine to replace the existing, so they'll look like new.

Both displays are outfitted with the latest (v5.52) software, and has been operated satisfactorily with digital and analog radar, AIS, SR100 weather, SIRIUS radio, DSC connectivity with my VHF, and integration with and operation of my X30 autopilot. I've also been able to interface a laptop running the Raymarine Navigation System (RNS) v6.1 allowing the notebook to serve as an additional station.

What I'd suggest is to keep in touch with me and watch the board. I will be posting as each sells, but feel free to contact me if I experience a bout of "cranial flatuance," also known as a brain fart.

joe,

do you mean you managed to get your laptop to act as an addiotional screen, and you can put the radar on it or fishfinder on it, and have something else on the e120? how did you do this, how do you zoom and change pages on the laptop

Thanks

Mark,

With the RNS 6.1 software running on a Windows XP (not Vista) laptop, you can connect that laptop to the SeaTalk HS switch and see the chart, the radar, the fishfinder, the 3D chart in separate, configurable windows. The RNS software is NOT cheap, and I do NOT have a license to sell, but it is available from Raymarine and also from retailers.

What you can do is have the notebook in the cabin, and do your planning down below. An added benefit is that you can have a second "watchstander" out of the weather keeping a closer watch on the radar for example while you're at the helm navigating the vessel.

A VERY COOL capability!

Mark,

Not off the top of my head. But I know it CAN be done. There's a setting in there that allows you to make that change. Lemme see when I get home if I can find it on my home notebook. Which version of the planner do you have? I think they're up to v6.1 now.

I forgot to add to my original posting that I have the NavPod face that's precut for the E80 that I'll include, along with some extra cables for each display at no extra charge.

I have had the pleasure of working with the new E-Wide touch screen displays and love them! There is some getting used to, and re-learing the button-ology (some things aren't in the same places as before), but overall, these new displays are GREAT!

As with any new product, there are some glitches and some enhancements that need to be done, and I'm feeding my impressions back to RM. I'm glad they're out the door, and look forward to hearing how others like (or - gasp - dislike them.
