Hi guys... anyone running Detroit 6V92's? I'm looking at possible repower and found a pair with zero hours and wondered if they fit and what kind of performance to expect.

I've decided not to go with the Detroits. I'm considering Cat C7's Acerts 460hp. My only concern is some negative press on the aftercoolers. I was told theC7's had no problems but wondered if anyone here has any experience. Also, does anyone know the performance with these motors in the 380 express? They're rated 460 hp @ 2800 rpm. The motors I'm replacing are Luggers rated 490 @ 2500. The Cats are 1200 lbs lighter. Will the higher rpms cause any cavitation?
