hi all. i have a 1976 28'er with a single 454. cant seem to get her up over the bow wave and plane. had bennets on her and that didnt help. bennets fell apart after a year from electroylisis even with zincs on each unit.:sad: anyway the compression is all ok and i even downsized the prop to no avail. i'm wondering if any of you owners have a 28 sf with 11' beam that has had the same problems or anyone with knowledge of that particular hull that knows if that hull will plane with a singular engine. thnx..the fool
