Hi
I'm new to this forum and looking at buying a 320 Tournament!!
Does anyone know the gas use for an 1989 til 1997 320 Tourney? :dunno:
I'm curious about MPG at the different speeds. And Gallons per Hour used at different speeds.
Or perhaps you know where I can find the information.
Thanks a ton from Germany!! :001_cool:

We have a 1989 32' flybridge. We run 20 knots, and we burn 20 gallons per hour, and that includes running the generator.

Not sure if it's clear, but we have twin 454's not fuel injected. We run gas...

Does it make any sense that I would burn 22 gph w/twin 350's in my 97' 290 at 18 knots??? i was hopeing to make 16- 18 gph "just one more..."seems to be getting great GPH

Maybe the motors work harder to push the boat?? I'm very happy with our fuel consumption. I think the hulls are the same...

My 1992 320 Tournament with 454's burns about 24GPH @ 18-19 knots @ 3200rpm. It is difficult to be exact without long, several hour runs port to port without much reduced throttle time but I float plan 25GPH for offshore runs and it comes out pretty close when I top the tanks. Full fuel, full water and 6 soles.

Anything is possible when it comes to how many GPH you burn. There are just too many variables. I've heard of some 350's utilizing more fuel than some 454's in the same type of vessel. The best way to determine your specific MPG and GPH is to invest in floscans. With fuel pushing $5.00 a gallon at the marina, the floscans will pay for themselves in a few years.
